Who is your content suitable for?

Who is behind Pareto Education?

Pareto Education was founded by a doctor and a physician associate, bringing true MDT experience to educating the next generation of clinicians. Dr Mohammed Oomerjee (MBBS, iBSc, PGCert, MRCGP) is a GP with experience in emergency medicine and urgent care who previously lectured on the MSc Physician Associate programme at the University of Bradford. Kameel Khan (MSc, BSc) is an experienced physician associate in gastroenterology with extensive experience in plastic surgery and respiratory medicine.

Live CPD courses

How do live CPD courses work?

Live courses are delivered on MS Teams, typically as 3 hour masterclasses (with some full day sessions running 09:00 to 17:00). Each course date has its own booking page and Teams join link, and you receive a confirmation email on booking plus two reminders, one a few days before and one one to two hours before the session.

Are the live courses CPD accredited?

Yes. Our live CPD courses are externally accredited, with 3 hour masterclasses typically carrying 3 CPD points, and a certificate is included with every course to support your professional portfolio.

Do I get recorded access and course materials?

Yes. Every paid live course includes 60 days of recorded access and all learning materials, so you can continue your learning beyond the live session in your own time.

What topics do the live masterclasses cover?

Our masterclasses cover key areas of clinical practice including pain and analgesia, ECG interpretation, antibiotic prescribing, minor illness, urgent care, musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, paediatric minor illness, complex gynae/HRT and fertility, clinical emergencies, blood interpretation, and OSCE and PA national exam preparation.

Are e-books included with any courses?

Some courses bundle a companion e-book free of charge. For example, the CPD ECG Masterclass includes the ECG Made Simple e-book (£4.99 value) as part of the course.

Who teaches the courses?

All courses are delivered by experienced clinicians and educators, including consultants, ANPs, PAs and specialists. Recent examples include Dr Fayruz, Consultant Anaesthetist with an interest in pain management, Victoria O'Keefe, ANP in Emergency Medicine, and Dr Mohammed Oomerjee, GP.

What is CPD at 7pm?

CPD at 7pm is our free weekly webinar series, held every Wednesday at 19:00 on MS Teams. Each subject is carefully researched and presented by our expert educators, keeping you up to date with the latest guidelines in theory and practice. The slide pack is free for every webinar.

Are the free webinars really free?

Yes. Joining the webinar and downloading the slide pack are completely free, with no charge to attend. The optional attendance certificate costs £2.99.

How do I get a certificate for a free webinar?

After attending, you can purchase a self-CPD certificate for £2.99 from the store. It evidences your learning for your professional portfolio and includes the webinar topic and date.

What are the case-based webinars and Tough Presentations?

Case-based webinars work through a realistic scenario in full, such as Charlie's Got Chest Pain, Peter's Got Palpitations, Simone's Swollen Legs and Harriet's Got Hypertension, covering history, red flags, investigations and management. Tough Presentations is a sub-brand covering difficult consulting topics, including polypharmacy, falls, abdominal pain and ENT infections.

On-demand courses

How do on-demand courses work?

On-demand programmes are evergreen and self-paced. You purchase once and work through a step-based course of interactive, case-based video lessons with worked examples and downloadable references, with a certificate on completion. Programmes range from short-form (around 13 steps) up to 32 steps for the flagship course.

What does the Blood Interpretation Masterclass cover?

It is our most comprehensive programme, covering confident filing and management of blood results across five modules: haematology (FBC), renal (U and Es), liver function tests, endocrine bloods, and autoantibodies and tumour markers. It is aligned with NICE and Royal College guidance and includes illustrated cases, tutorials and downloadable references.

What do on-demand courses cost?

Bite-size single-system programmes (haematology, gastroenterology, renal) are £19.99, standard masterclasses such as ABG, ECG, Pain and Analgesia Selection and Antibiotics are £49.99, and the flagship Blood Interpretation Masterclass is £124.99.

Do on-demand courses include a certificate?

Yes. Completing an on-demand programme earns a certificate of completion, included in the course price. Completion certificates support your CPD portfolio.

Is there a community or discussion area for on-demand students?

The flagship Blood Interpretation Masterclass is connected to a private group where enrolled members can ask questions and discuss the course content. Other programmes include course-linked discussion on the new platform.

What e-books are available?

How are e-books delivered?

All e-books are digital downloads (PDF), delivered instantly after purchase with no shipping involved.

Are the OSCE history resources free?

Yes. The OSCE Histories library is free to use, with 43 structured history-taking templates across 12 clinical categories including cardiology, respiratory, neurology, psychiatry, paediatrics and more, designed for medical students and PA candidates.

Corporate training

Do you offer corporate training for organisations?

Yes. We partner with NHS and private healthcare organisations to deliver high-quality, accredited training that strengthens clinical capability and supports workforce development. Offerings span core CPD-accredited training (blood and ECG interpretation, chronic disease reviews, minor illness, urgent care, non-medical prescribing updates), skills-based training (vaccination, travel vaccination, Pharmacy First, OSCE skills) and bespoke programme contributions.

How is corporate training delivered?

Flexibly, to suit the organisation: live instructor-led training in person or virtually, recorded sessions for flexible access, and on-demand learning supported by written materials. We have worked with organisations including SYTH, Greater Manchester Training Hub, Bradford Care and universities including Edge Hill, Manchester and Bradford.

Bookings and contact

How do I book a course?

Each course date has its own booking page with a Book Now button, price and live seat availability. After booking you receive a confirmation email and reminder emails containing your MS Teams join link. Enrolment and member access on this staging site are backend-dependent, so use the live Pareto site or contact us to book until the events backend is connected.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please contact us directly if you wish to cancel your booking. If cancelled more than 8 weeks prior to the course date, you are entitled to a full refund. If you cancel between 8-4 weeks you are entitled to a 50% refund. If you cancel within 4 weeks then we will be unable to grant you a refund.
